The Firehall is located on the Crockett Lake side of Casey’s South Campus. In the early 1900s, the Firehall served as the fire station for the Fort Casey military camp. In the 1970s, the back portion of the building was converted to a three-bedroom, one-bath home accommodating 6–11.
The amenities include:
- A kitchen, equipped with standard household appliances, including a refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave oven, toaster, and 12-cup coffeemaker. Basic cooking and baking equipment, serving dishes, tableware, and a few dish towels are provided. Paper products are not provided.
- Three bedrooms with varied bed arrangements including bunks, twin, full, and queen-size beds. Linens are not provided.
- A living room with wood-burning stove, and a TV with a DVD/VCR player.
- A backyard with a small firepit and picnic table.
